Arkansas COVID-19 Food Access Map

Collaboration between food access partners around the state to provide a resource to the public on where food can be accessed during the pandemic. Information provided is:

  • school/summer meals
  • local food (farms & farmers’ markets)
  • county resources (foodbanks, DHS, Legal Aid, and AAAs)

Information is provided from: Arkansas Department of Human Services, Arkansas Department of Education Child Nutrition Unit, Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance, Healthy Active Arkansas, UAMS, University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture, Arkansas Coalition for Obesity Prevention, and many more.

Partnered Opportunities:

Uplift Arkansas: This website provides a resource hub for Arkansans to reach farmers who provide fresh food direct to consumers, farm-to-table restaurants, and local grocery stores through online sales, farmers markets, and on-farm sales.

No Kid Hungry: Families can text the word “FOOD” (or “COMIDA”) to 877877 to find their nearest sites. This new partnership with No Kid Hungry ensures that Arkansas School Meal data is available using the texting hotline.
