The Arkansas State Plant Board is proposing adoption of the following:
- The Arkansas State Plant Board is proposing changes to the Arkansas Rules on Pesticide Use and Classification. The proposed changes will be to consider changes for the use of dicamba in the State of Arkansas. The proposed rule change may be viewed here.
- Arkansas State Plant Board Rules Regarding the Adoption of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Handbooks. Ark. Code Ann. § 4-18-303 provides that NIST “shall be the primary state standard for weights and measures”. The Bureau of Standards is charged with the duty to enforce weights and measures standards in the state, and this rule informs those subject to regulation what the standards are. - Arkansas Regulations on Pesticide Use. To establish cutoff dates for late season permits for dicamba applications east of the Mississippi River levee that will comply with the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act. Click here to view the proposed rule.
- Arkansas Pesticide Use and Application Act. The Environmental Protection Agency now requires that restricted use pesticide applicators must be at least 18 years old. Click here to view the proposed rule.
