Restricted Use Pesticide Dealer License & Bulk Dealer Permit

Important Information Regarding License and Permits:

  • Pesticide License numbers issued are a permanently assigned number. 
  • Please use the license search link to verify that a purchaser’s license is active.

Restricted Use Pesticide Dealer License

Requirements for a Restricted Use Pesticide Dealer License:

A Restricted Use Pesticide Dealer License is required for any person(s) who distributes products classified as Class E, F, or H or restricted-use pesticides within the State of Arkansas.

Arkansas Regulations on Pesticide Classification- defines all products classified as Class E, F, or H.

Dealers with multiple locations within the State of Arkansas must complete a separate application for each location which distributes pesticides.

Out of state dealers may obtain a single license for their principal location which distributes pesticides into the State of Arkansas. Out of state dealers must complete a Power of Attorney form designating a resident agent for services of process. A Power of Attorney is not required each year for renewal licensees unless the Power of Attorney has changed from the previous year.

Record-keeping Requirements:
All records of sale or distribution of Category E, F, or H or restricted-use pesticides must be maintained by the dealer for a period of two years from the date of sale. Record keeping forms may be obtained from the office or print the form DP-37 Dealer's Record of Purchase of Restricted Use Pesticides from the Arkansas Department of Agriculture (Department) website.

A License will be issued and emailed to you, once the application review process is completed.  You can also view and print your permit information online at this link, as long as you hold a current license.


Bulk Dealer Permit

The following section explains the steps required to obtain a Bulk Dealer Permit.

Requirements for a Bulk Dealer Permit:

A Bulk Dealer Permit is required for any pesticide dealer that acts as a Producer Establishment and dispenses bulk pesticides into smaller containers and distributes the repackaged pesticides.

Complete an Application for Permission to Deliver Bulk Pesticides to a Dealer's Facility and Permission for the Dealer to Dispense Bulk Pesticides (DP-42) online using the following link:

There is no fee required for bulk dealer permits.

A permit will be mailed or emailed to you once the application review process is completed.  You can also view and print your permit information online at this link, as long as you hold a current permit.
